Kevin Keatts is the lone black basketball coach in the NCAA Men’s Final Four. No. 11 North Carolina State head coach led his team to a 76-64 victory over No. 4 Duke in the South Regional of the 2024 NCAA Tournament at American Airline Center.  The Wolfpack will face No. 1 Purdue at 6:09 PM ET on Saturday, Apr. 6.

WHAT NCAA FINAL FOUR COACHES EARN

According to Front Office Sports, Keatts earns $3.1 million annually, the least among the Final Four head coaches. Nate Oats (Alabama) earns $6.275M, reigning national champion coach Dan Hurley (UConn) is paid $5.35M, and Purdue’s Matt Painter makes $3.68M.  The underdogs Keatts and Painter may receive hefty bonuses for reaching the Final Four and Championship games.
